Conservationists in Australia have announced plans to open the world’s first platypus refuge.
"These facilities will be critical in building our knowledge, so we don’t let this iconic creature slip off the earth," said conservationist Cameron Kerr.
The mammals are close to extinction following bushfires and drought.
