The F-16 fighter is the mainstay jet for many militaries around the world, having been used in multiple conflicts, including now in Ukraine.
BBC News Weapons Analyst Chris Partridge was granted special access to the United States Air Force’s 52nd Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem in Germany, meeting pilots and commanders to gain a greater understanding of this iconic aircraft. He also got to fly the jet himself.
