The UK, US, France, Italy and Germany have issued a joint statement urging Iran to end its threats of an attack on Israel.
They called on Iran to "stand down its ongoing threats” and “discussed the serious consequences for regional security should such an attack take place”.
Fears of a wider conflict in the Middle East have been growing following the recent assassination of senior Hezbollah and Hamas leaders.
