The head of the UN relief agency, UNRWA, has warned there is no plan B for the organisation’s work in Gaza.
Phillipe Lazzarini’s statement comes after Israel’s parliament voted to ban it from operating within Israel and occupied East Jerusalem.
Almost all of Gaza’s population of more than two million people are dependent on aid and services from the agency.
Lazzarini told a press conference that children would starve and aid supply chains could fall apart as a result of the ban.
