People under 30 in the UK are to be offered an alternative Covid jab to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The advice comes after an investigation into cases of "extremely rare" blood clots in people who have had the jab.
The EU’s medicines regulator says the unusual blood clots should be listed as a very rare side effect of the AstraZeneca vaccine for Covid-19.
People who have had a first Oxford-AZ jab should still be offered the second dose.
"The balance of benefits and known risks is still very favourable for the majority of people," Dr June Raine, chief executive of the MHRA said.
