Twins stolen at birth reunited decades later by TikTok video | BBC News

Thousands of people in Georgia have found out they were stolen from their biological parents at birth and sold for adoption.

Identical twins Amy and Ano were taken from their mother at birth, only discovered each other’s existence at age 19 by chance viewing of online videos.

It’s believed that the black market for baby trafficking in the country operated for decades between the 1970s and 2000s.

Some of the victims are now taking their cases to the courts, hoping to get access to their both documents and trace their biological families.
