The children’s hospital in Zaporizhzhia, just outside the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol is treating children who have been victims of Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Two-year-old Artem has shrapnel wounds to his stomach, 15-year-old Masha has lost a leg and fractured an arm. Doctors say she was so traumatised that she didn’t eat or drink for days and had to be fed intravenously.
