Roger Federer, one of the greatest tennis players of all time, has announced he will retire later this month.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion has not played since Wimbledon 2021.
In his statement, Federer said: "I have played more than 1,500 matches over 24 years. Now I must recognise when it is time to end my competitive career."
Federer has struggled with a knee problem for the past three years, limiting him to only three of the 11 Grand Slams staged since the start of 2020.
World number 10 Hubert Hurkacz, who beat Federer at Wimbledon last year discusses the match playing against the tennis legend.
