A court in South Korea has ordered the release of impeached President Yoon Suk-Yeol where he has been held since mid-January after December’s failed attempt to impose martial law.
He is still facing charges in the country’s constitutional court.
Supporters of the impeached president gathered outside the Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang awaiting his release, but Yoon remains behind bars with the prosecution set to appeal.
