At least 25 people have died and more are missing after a Russian missile strike on an apartment building in Ukrainian city Dnipro.
A number of other cities across Ukraine were also targeted by Russian missiles on Saturday, including Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odesa.
Moscow said the missiles were aimed at Ukraine’s military and energy infrastructure, but the strike in Dnipro hit the entrance of a nine-storey residential building, turning several floors into smouldering rubble.
Russia’s missile barrage came on the same day that UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said his government would give Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine’s armed forces in a bid to help "push Russian troops back".
