One person has died, and many more are missing after a mudslide triggered by heavy rains swept away homes on the island of Ischia, Italy.
The torrent of mud and debris dislodged trees, engulfed buildings and dragged cars into the sea on the island, located near Naples.
A woman is understood to have died, while efforts are ongoing to search for a number of missing people.
Dozens of homes have been cut off, with bad weather hampering rescuers travelling from the mainland.
