Piers Morgan: ‘I’ve never hacked a phone, I’ve never told anyone to hack a phone’ – BBC News

Piers Morgan was editor of the Daily Mirror from 1995 to 2004.

In the trial brought against Mirror Group, the lawyer for Prince Harry and three other claimants has claimed they have new evidence linking Mr Morgan – who is now a TV presenter – to phone hacking at the Mirror.

In an exclusive interview recorded before the start of the trial, Mr Morgan has told the BBC’s Amol Rajan he denies any knowledge of unlawful activity.
