A former schoolteacher turned governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, 60, was picked as Kamala Harris’s running mate shortly after she rose to the top of the Democrat ticket.
JD Vance, 40, was best known as a chart-topping author a few years ago. Now he’s a Republican senator from Ohio and Donald Trump’s running mate.
