Ukraine said the aims of its attack on Russia’s Kursk region is to get Moscow to start fair peace talks to end the war.
A senior advisor to Ukraine’s President Zelensky also claimed there are no plans in occupying territory taken in its 11-day cross-border incursion.
But the Ukrainian army said it is continuing it’s advance and has set up a military office inside Russia, which will "meet the immediate needs" of the population in the area.
