The father-of-two was killed alongside his coach in a car on a road in western Kenya on Sunday.
Kelvin set the men’s world record in Chicago last October, clocking the 26.2 miles (42km) in two hours and 35 seconds.
Before that, he set the course record of 2:01:25 at the London Marathon in April 2023.
