Israeli PM Netanyahu heckled by Hamas attack victims’ relatives at memorial | BBC News


A speech by Israel’s prime minister has been interrupted at a memorial ceremony in Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said Israel’s air strikes should not be ‘downplayed nor exaggerated’.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the attack was "strong, precise and achieved all its objectives".

Elsewhere, the Israeli military says four soldiers have been killed in southern Lebanon, where Israel has been battling Iran-backed Hezbollah.

An Israeli strike in Sidon has killed eight people, Lebanon’s health ministry said.
