The Israeli military says it killed three hostages held in Gaza after they were mistakenly identified as a threat.
The IDF have named them as Yotam Haim, Samer Talalka and Alon Shamriz and said the three had been killed in Shejaiya, in Gaza City.
"The IDF expresses deep remorse over the incident and sends the families its heartfelt condolences," the military’s statement read.
