Israel-Gaza: Rafah crossing to Egypt expected to open – BBC News

The Rafah crossing from Gaza to Egypt is expected to open for the first time since Israel’s siege began on 7 October.

It is thought 88 injured Palestinians and about 500 dual nationals per day will be allowed out.

The BBC understands from authorities that there are about 7,000 people registered as dual nationals in Gaza.

Ambulances entered Gaza from Egypt on Wednesday morning and crowds have gathered at the gates.
