Hezbollah says it has attacked military targets with a series of rocket salvos into northern Israel following Israeli strikes on Monday.
Lebanon’s health minister Firass Abiad said 50 children are among at least 558 people killed in the nation after two days of Israeli attacks.
The Lebanese health ministry said that 1,835 people injured in the blasts and medical staff "worked above and beyond to look after all patients".
Monday was the deadliest day in Lebanon since the end of the civil war in 1990.
