How mountain bikers are adapting bikes to cater for disability | BBC News


The Olympic and Paralympic Games are returning to Paris this summer, with mountain biking to take place at Elancourt Hill – the highest point in the Paris region.

But despite mountain biking being a an Olympic sport since 1996, mountain biking hasn’t featured in the Paralympics – partially due to lack of suitable bikes.

Many traditional handcycles are built to be ridden on the road, but one company believes they have developed a solution.
