Devices which conserve and recycle water could become critical infrastructure in our homes in the future, as global temperatures rise and the population’s water usage changes.
The UN suggests the demand for the resource could increase by as much as 30% by 2030.
New technology can treat ‘grey water’, which comes from the bath, shower or washing machine, so it can be used again for other purposes.
So, how soon should we expect to see water recycling technology built into our homes?
