Floods in eastern Australia have killed at least 22 people and left thousands of homes uninhabitable in the past month.
In New South Wales town Lismore, where some residents scrambled to roofs and waited for 24 hours or more to be rescued, rebuilding will take years.
The crisis, one of Australia’s worst natural disasters, has focused residents’ anger on politicians over their responses.
Following the floods, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the nation was "getting hard to live in because of these disasters".
