Dog nose prints could help identify missing pets – BBC News


Until now the usual way to identify dogs is with microchipping.

In some countries it’s even the law to do so.

But now a company from South Korea has developed an app that can identify dogs a little less invasively.

The app uses the animal’s unique nose print to recognise them, just like you can identify a human through their fingerprint.

But how reliable is it?
