Canada stabbings: Victims’ families say ‘words can’t express pain’ – BBC News


The full list of the people killed in a deadly stabbing spree in Saskatchewan, Canada, has been released by police.

Speaking at a press conference, Mark Arcand, whose sister Bonnie Goodvoice-Burns and her son Gregory Burns were among those killed, said: "Words can’t express the pain that we are feeling.”

Nine of the 10 victims were from James Smith Cree Nation, an indigenous community with nearly 3,500 members.

One victim, Wesley Petterson, was from Weldon, a quiet farming town nearby.
