More than 60 bodies with signs of torture have been found in the recently liberated city of Kherson, according to Ukraine’s interior minister.
The discovery follows Ukrainian forces retaking the city from Russian forces, who had held the city for the last eight months.
Investigators in the city say they have discovered "illegal prisons and torture chambers" they claim were used on civilians and Ukrainian officials who protested against Russia’s occupation of the city.
Moscow has strongly denied committing war crimes during its invasion of Ukraine.
