Large areas of Ukraine have suffered blackouts after Russian missiles targeted energy infrastructure.
Fifteen blasts were reported in the second-largest city, Kharkiv, said the mayor, while more than 53,000 households in Odesa were without power.
A power line feeding the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant had been cut, according to Ukraine’s energy minister.
Meanwhile, in recent days police and emergency workers have rescued hundreds of people from the Sumy border area, moving them deeper into Ukraine and to safety.
