It is 10 years since more than 1,000 people died when an illegally extended garment factory collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The Rana Plaza collapse was the worst industrial accident in Bangladesh’s history and prompted international outcry and promises to ensure workers’ safety.
Ten years on General-Secretary of the IndustriALL Global Union, Atle Høie, told the BBC that safety conditions “have come a long way”.
