Police and protesters have clashed during a demonstration in Greece’s capital of Athens after 57 people died when two trains collided with each other last week.
Seven officers were hurt and five arrests were made during the protest, which police believe was attended by 12,000 people.
Many in Greece see the crash as an accident that had been waiting to happen, but a Greek government minister told the BBC that the lack of funding for the railways was the direct result of the strict terms of international bailouts imposed after the 2010 debt crisis.
