Zakia Khudadadi has made history at the Paris Paralympics by becoming the first athlete from the Refugee Paralympic Team to win a medal.
Khudadadi took home bronze in the women’s Parataekwondo K44 -47kg division on Thursday.
The 25-year-old, who was born without a forearm, was evacuated from Afghanistan in 2021 and made her Paralympic debut at Tokyo.
